These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sensory Help Now website, any courses and memberships offered through it (“Site”), and other linked and related platforms. By registering for a course, setting up an account, or purchasing a membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Sensory Help Now.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Site. If you breach these Terms, your authorisation to use the Site will terminate immediately.
Our Site is intended as an educational resource for parents and carers. It is not intended to substitute professional medical advice or assessment. You should always seek specialist advice tailored to your child’s circumstances.
1. Services and Materials
1.1 What We Provide
Sensory Help Now provides a website, online courses, events, live group video calls, webinars, downloadable resources, quizzes, articles, forums, and other educational materials (“Materials”), available through paid memberships or free courses.
1.2 Educational, Not Clinical
The Materials are produced by registered occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech and language therapists with postgraduate training in sensory integration. Their role is educational. Nothing in any course or membership constitutes medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical advice, and nothing creates a patient–client relationship between our therapists and you or any child in your care.
1.3 Accuracy and Reasonable Efforts
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Materials are accurate and appropriate as general information. However, Materials may not always reflect the latest research and are not tailored to individual children’s needs. They do not replace professional assessment or treatment.
1.4 Updates to Materials
We may update, improve, modify, or remove Materials at any time.
1.5 Live Sessions
Where live group video calls are included, we will make reasonable efforts to deliver them as scheduled. We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to timing, content, or facilitators.
2. Accessibility
2.1 Commitment to Accessibility
Sensory Help Now is committed to providing materials that are accessible to the widest possible audience and is actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of our services.
2.2 Accessible Course Features
Our online courses include audio-described slides and animations, along with downloadable transcripts.
3. Course Access and Memberships
3.1 Immediate Access
When you register for a free course or purchase a membership, you will have immediate access to the relevant content.
3.2 Duration of Access
Access is time-limited and begins immediately on registration or successful payment. For paid memberships, access runs for the period selected at purchase. When the membership period expires, it cannot be extended — a new membership must be purchased if continued access is required.
3.3 Permitted Personal Use
You may:
- view the Materials;
- download one copy for your personal use; and
- print one copy for personal use, provided you do not modify the Materials or remove any copyright notices.
3.4 Prohibited Use
You must not modify, reproduce, distribute, share, or use the Materials for any commercial purpose.
3.5 Accounts
Each account is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your login details. If you share your account, we may unenrol you from any course or membership and delete your account without refund.
