Amazing Gift to Parents and Carers: Sensory Help Now is Now Free
29 February 2024
We have some amazing news! Our parent company, Sensory Integration Education (SIE), has taken the decision to make the Sensory Help Now service completely free for parents and carers. This is in celebration of SIE’s 30th birthday this year.
There’s no catch. It’s in fulfilment of SIE’s vision to change the lives of people with sensory processing and integration differences, and as a UK-based not-for-profit organisation, there’s no better way of doing this than supporting this generation of families.
Sensory Help Now: A Supportive Community and Reliable Resources
Access Advice from Therapists Via the Sensory Help Now Forum
By making the service completely free, even more families can benefit from putting their questions and concerns to a sensory integration trained HCPC therapist via our forum. And we guarantee that a therapist will respond to your post within three working days. It’s also a safe space to hook up with other families going through the same experiences. Pop on to the forum today!
Bite-Sized Videos Giving You Steps to Try at Home
Parents and carers also have access to the Sensory Help Now suite of short evidence-based courses, teaching you practical tips to manage your child’s sensory needs at home. See if you can improve your understanding of sensory-based behaviour today by watching one of our short videos.
A Small Favour
SIE’s birthday wish is that you share the Sensory Help Now website with your community so as many families as possible can benefit from a greater understanding of how to support their children’s sensory needs: www.sensoryhelpnow.org. Please help us spread the word that Sensory Help Now is now free!
Rosalind Rogers, Chair of Sensory Integration Education, said, “At SIE, we understand the importance of having a supportive community and reliable resources. That's why, in celebration of our 30th birthday, we are ensuring that the Sensory Help Now service is accessible to all families, completely free of charge. This initiative embodies our vision to change the lives of people with sensory processing and integration differences.”
